Chad A. Baker

Chad A. Baker is an associate attorney at Mirabella, Kincaid, Frederick & Mirabella, LLC. He represents clients in family law, criminal law, real estate, municipality law, employment law, and other civil litigation matters, providing practical legal guidance and strong advocacy.

Chad earned both his Juris Doctorate and Master of Business Administration from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois in March 2019. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois.

During law school, Chad was named to the Dean’s List and received the Clover Family Award for completing the most pro bono hours in his graduating class. He also gained early legal experience through student practice opportunities.

Chad volunteered as a 711 licensed student at the Kane County Public Defender’s Office and as a 303 licensed student at the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office. These experiences helped him build courtroom and litigation skills.

After law school, Chad served as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Rockford. In that role, he advised city committees and handled matters involving zoning, building regulations, ordinance violations, foreclosures, and administrative review.

Chad later worked as an Assistant State’s Attorney for the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office, where he litigated cases in felony, misdemeanor, and traffic divisions. He joined Mirabella, Kincaid, Frederick & Mirabella, LLC in August 2022.

Chad A. Baker also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Northern Illinois University, where he lectures on The Legal Environment in Business, while remaining active in several Illinois legal associations.
