Ms. Culberth earned her Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from the University of Minnesota in 1989. She then attended Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where she graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor in 1992. During law school, she was a member of the Hamline Law Review, contributing to legal scholarship and analysis. She is admitted to practice in Minnesota state courts and before the U.S. Supreme Court.
Ms. Culberth has passionately advocated civil rights and employment law throughout her career. She has been pivotal in landmark cases, including the Anoka-Hennepin Bullying Resolution. She volunteers as an attorney for Lambda Legal, Cancer Legal Line, and the Minnesota AIDS Project. Recognized for her legal excellence, she was named Minnesota Lawyer Attorney of the Year in both 2012 and 2016.
