Carolyn B. George

Carolyn B. George is Of Counsel at Cooper Erving & Savage LLP, where she focuses on personal injury law and insurance litigation. With more than 40 years of experience, she has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in New York courts and tried countless cases to verdict. Her practice includes serious injury claims, insurance disputes, premises liability, automobile matters, and other civil cases requiring seasoned courtroom advocacy and detailed preparation statewide.

Carolyn earned her J.D. from the University of Syracuse College of Law, where she was a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society and editor of the law school newspaper. She earned her B.A., cum laude, from LeMoyne College. Her academic background laid the foundation for a career centered on litigation, insurance law, personal injury advocacy, mediation, and courtroom practice across a wide range of complex civil disputes over four decades.

Carolyn has secured numerous settlements and jury verdicts for injured clients while also successfully defending parties in high-value civil litigation. Her representative matters include motor vehicle collisions, falls, brain injuries, orthopedic injuries, property damage, and long-term care insurance disputes. She also serves as a neutral in alternative dispute resolution and has been appointed to the Third Judicial District Roster of Neutrals and the federal court mediation panel for complex disputes.

Carolyn B. George is admitted in New York, the US District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of New York, and the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
