About

Caroline Ortego is a dedicated estate planning and probate attorney committed to helping Texas families safeguard their assets and secure their legacies. Her practice is built on compassion, clarity, and a desire to guide clients through complex legal matters with understanding and care.

A Louisiana native, Caroline earned her Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University Law Center in 2008 before moving to Texas, where she has practiced ever since. Her legal career began with a strong focus on helping families navigate inheritance and property challenges, inspiring her lifelong commitment to estate law.

Caroline’s first experience with estate planning and probate came in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. While in law school, she volunteered with fellow students and attorneys to help residents of New Orleans clear title to homes destroyed by the storm. Many of these families had lost generations of property due to the absence of wills and probate documentation.

Caroline witnessed firsthand how the absence of proper estate planning caused families to lose their ancestral homes, an experience that profoundly shaped her career. She came to understand that estate planning extends beyond wealth—it safeguards stability, dignity, and opportunity for generations to come, guiding her work today.

In her practice, Caroline assists clients with wills, trusts, and probate administration, ensuring that their wishes are clearly documented and their loved ones are protected. She approaches each case with empathy and precision, helping clients make informed decisions that provide peace of mind for years to come.

Through her commitment to estate law, Caroline Ortego has become a trusted advocate for families seeking to protect their legacies. Her mission is simple yet profound — to help clients preserve what they have built so their families can thrive for generations.
