Carlos Lopez

Carlos Lopez is a Texas civil litigation attorney and managing associate of Queenan Law Firm, P.C., whose practice includes personal injury, workplace liability, business disputes, contract claims, and other complex civil lawsuits and disputes. He represents clients in cases involving motor vehicle collisions, workplace injuries, premises liability, and product liability, along with commercial conflicts requiring negotiation or litigation. As a managing associate, he has handled matters in state and federal courts across Texas and has helped clients pursue resolutions through settlement, bench trials, jury trials, and appellate proceedings.

Mr. Lopez earned his J.D. cum laude from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law, now Texas A&M University School of Law, and his B.A. in Government from the University of Texas at Austin. During law school, he remained in the top ten percent of his class, received the President’s Full Scholarship, served as an Associate Editor of the Texas Wesleyan Law Review, participated in Moot Court, and worked as a professor’s assistant while beginning his legal career as an intern.

Mr. Lopez is admitted to the State Bar of Texas, the US Supreme Court, and the US District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas. His litigation experience extends from initial case evaluation through trial and appeal. He has handled original proceedings and appeals before Texas appellate courts, the Supreme Court of Texas, and the US Supreme Court. Earlier professional experience includes work with Catholic Charities Diocese of Fort Worth Immigration Services and KPMG, LLP, in human resources.

Carlos Lopez is a member of the Dallas Bar Association and the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association. His combination of trial, appellate, and civil litigation experience supports representation in matters involving serious injuries, workplace incidents, contractual disputes, and other high-stakes conflicts. He approaches cases with careful preparation, practical analysis, and attention to the procedural demands of both state and federal courts.
