Carlos G. Quintana is the managing partner at Quintana | Barajas, PLLC, where he focuses on immigration and family law. Mr. Quintana earned his B.A. in Political Science and Psychology from the University of New Mexico in 2004, graduating summa cum laude. He later obtained his J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2013. During law school, he was an Associate Editor for the Cardozo Law Journal of Conflict Resolution and a Public Service Scholar. His legal training included internships with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, Catholic Charities Immigration Services, and the Brooklyn Family Defense Project.

Licensed to practice in Texas, New York, and New Jersey, Carlos G. Quintana represents clients before multiple federal courts, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd and 5th Circuits and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas. His legal career includes serving as an immigration attorney at Quintana & Barajas, PLLC, and practicing removal defense in private practice. He has successfully helped clients obtain permanent residency, defend against deportation, and secure asylum protection. Through his work in both immigration and family law, he ensures that his clients receive fair and just representation.

Mr. Quintana is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Federal Bar Association, and he serves as an investigator for the Texas Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee.
