Carla Walker

Carla Walker is an attorney with extensive experience in real estate, business law, and development matters, serving clients throughout Northeast Georgia. Her practice emphasizes practical counsel, long-term relationship building, and strategic legal guidance for businesses and developers navigating complex transactions and regulatory considerations.

Carla earned dual undergraduate degrees from the University of Georgia and later obtained her Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law. During law school, she served as President of the Student Bar Association and was a member of the Moot Court Board, demonstrating early leadership and advocacy skills.

Carla began her legal career as a partner at Whelchel, Dunlap, Jarrard & Walker, LLP, where she practiced for more than a decade. During that time, she developed substantial experience in real estate and business law, representing clients in transactions, negotiations, and operational matters across a wide range of industries.

After leaving private practice, Carla transitioned into real estate development, providing legal counsel to medical, commercial, multifamily, and residential developers. This role allowed her to engage deeply in projects from planning through execution, advising on acquisitions, development strategy, financing, and ongoing legal needs.

Carla is an active member of the legal and business community. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Association of Corporate Counsel, and serves on the executive board of the Gainesville-Northeastern Bar Association. She also serves on the board of trustees for the Quinlan Visual Arts Center.
