Carla completed her undergraduate education at the University of South Carolina, earning a B.A. Political Science 2007, summa cum laude. She also received a B.A. Religious Studies 2007, summa cum laude, graduating with honors from the South Carolina Honors College. Carla later earned a Juris Doctor in 2010, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

Carla distinguished herself early through leadership and academic involvement. While in college, she participated in student government and campus organizations and was recognized with the Steven N. Swanger Leadership Award as a senior. Her professional exposure began early through work at law firms and a summer internship with the Governor of South Carolina.

Carla built her legal career with hands-on experience in both academic and professional settings. During law school, she served as Articles Editor for the South Carolina Law Review and was a member of the Order of the Wig and Robe. She also worked as a summer associate at a large law firm in Greenville.

Carla focuses her practice on family law, estate planning, and probate administration. She assists clients with divorce, custody, adoption, child and spousal support, planning for incapacity, and asset transfers after death. Her work centers on helping families make informed decisions with lasting legal impact.
