Camille’s academic journey began in biomedical engineering at Johns Hopkins University, where she built a strong technical foundation and developed a passion for technology. She later transferred to Texas A&M University at Galveston to complete a degree in maritime administration. After spending three years working in the shipping industry in Savannah, she pursued her Juris Doctor, discovering law as the perfect field to combine her love for science, writing, and business.
After passing both the Florida Bar and the Patent Bar, Camille began her career as a contractor working with a Fortune 50 Company’s Research & Development department. In this role, she collaborated directly with engineers and innovators, contributing to numerous patent filings. Her work in this collaborative environment earned her recognition as an inventor on dozens of patent applications, including sixteen issued U.S. patents, giving her unique insight into both the creative and legal aspects of innovation.
