Camille M. Knight is a Dallas criminal defense attorney who concentrates her practice on federal criminal cases. She represents individuals and companies during investigations, pre-indictment proceedings, criminal prosecutions, trials, appeals, and post-conviction litigation. Camille handles matters involving white-collar crime, securities and bankruptcy fraud, healthcare fraud, wire fraud, government contracting, drug conspiracies, firearms trafficking, human trafficking, and robbery. She has practiced extensively in federal courts and helps clients address complex investigations and serious criminal allegations.
Camille earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law in 2000, where she participated in Law Review, moot court, mock trial, and international arbitration moot. She received her B.A., cum laude, from the University of New Mexico and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. After law school, Camille served as a judicial clerk to U.S. Magistrate Judge Paul D. Stickney in Dallas, strengthening the research, writing, and federal litigation skills central to her practice.
Camille later joined the Office of the Federal Public Defender in Dallas, where she developed significant federal criminal trial and appellate experience. She has represented hundreds of clients after indictment, tried numerous cases in federal and state courts in Texas and Illinois, and argued before the Fifth and Seventh Circuit Courts of Appeals. Her experience also includes federal habeas proceedings and civil litigation involving antitrust, civil rights, trade secrets, trademarks, contracts, construction disputes, and product liability.
Camille M. Knight has been named among D Magazine’s Best Lawyers from 2020 through 2025 and selected to Super Lawyers in 2024 and 2025. She also holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
