Caleb W. Ballew is an associate attorney at Martinson & Beason, P.C., where he handles a wide range of legal matters, including divorce, child custody, criminal defense, civil litigation, and estate disputes. He is also a certified guardian ad litem, regularly appointed to protect the rights of juveniles in court proceedings. Caleb earned his B.A. from the University of Virginia and his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Mississippi School of Law. While in law school, he participated in Moot Court competitions, earned several litigation scholarships, and contributed to the Mississippi Innocence Project. He also served as a research assistant to journalist and author Curtis Wilkie on the legal nonfiction book The Fall of the House of Zeus.
Since being admitted to practice in Alabama in 2010, Caleb has become an active member of the legal community. He belongs to the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association, the Family Law Section of the Alabama State Bar, and the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
