Caldwell G. Collins is a seasoned trial lawyer who leads the Managed Care Litigation team. She represents health care providers in payor disputes, recovering millions in underpayments for critical services. She also defends against nationwide class actions and racketeering suits. In addition, she represents providers in professional liability cases, advising on compliance, quality assurance, survey citations, and government investigations. Her practice extends to product liability, premises liability, and complex commercial litigation.
Collins earned her J.D. from Washington University School of Law in 2009, where she served as Editor in Chief of the Washington University Journal of Law & Policy and President of the Women’s Law Caucus. She completed her B.A. at Vanderbilt University in 2005. Admitted in Tennessee and Kentucky, she also practices before the Sixth Circuit and U.S. District Courts across Tennessee.
Collins’s trial record includes defense verdicts for long-term care providers and national retailers, as well as successful jury outcomes in contract and conversion disputes. She is also experienced in product liability and medical device claims, commercial contract disputes, and premises liability defense.
