Caitlin Walters has focused her career on representing women in divorce and custody cases across Virginia. Since joining Hofheimer Family Law Firm in 2013, she has developed a reputation as a meticulous and empathetic advocate. Before taking on this role, Caitlin served as a Guardian ad litem, representing children in contested custody matters. This experience provided her with unique insight into what courts consider when determining a child’s best interests.

Caitlin earned her Bachelor of Science degree from McKendree College in 2008 and her Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law in 2011. Her background and training as a Guardian ad litem continue to inform her custody practice, particularly in cases involving sensitive issues such as breastfeeding, relocation, mental illness, or substance abuse. She combines her knowledge of the law with a profound understanding of family dynamics, enabling clients to approach custody with clarity and confidence.

Beyond her casework, she has educated women through Hofheimer’s Second Saturday Monthly Divorce Seminars and Custody Bootcamp for Moms. She has also contributed to the firm’s publications and appeared on the HofLine podcast, addressing topics related to custody and visitation.
