Bryan E. Keyt provides strategic legal guidance across environmental, energy, and infrastructure matters, helping organizations manage regulatory exposure and operational risk. His work centers on air, water, waste management, chemical handling, and workplace safety, with a strong focus on compliance planning, risk reduction, and effective responses to government investigations.

Bryan earned his Bachelor of Arts cum laude from Colgate University in 1988, building a strong academic foundation. He later completed his Juris Doctor with honors at DePaul University in 1993, developing advanced legal skills that support his work in environmental, energy, and regulatory law matters.

Bryan regularly advises clients on environmental, health, and safety obligations, including Superfund, process safety, and occupational safety and health requirements. He defends administrative enforcement and litigation matters brought by U.S. EPA, OSHA, MSHA, and state and local agencies, including cases arising from chemical releases, industrial incidents, and reporting obligations.

Bryan represents traditional, alternative, and renewable energy businesses on regulatory, contractual, and transactional matters. His experience includes advising electric and gas suppliers, district energy companies, wind and solar developers, and biofuel producers, as well as negotiating pipeline, terminaling, supply, and customer agreements critical to energy operations.

Bryan brings significant transactional experience to environmental and real estate matters, particularly Brownfield redevelopment projects. He advises on asset and stock transactions, remediation agreements, and voluntary cleanup programs, supporting acquisitions and redevelopment efforts ranging from small parcels to sites exceeding one thousand acres in size.

Bryan E. Keyt is recognized for his contributions to environmental law, including honors from Chambers USA (2022–2025) and Best Lawyers of America, Environmental Law (2023–2026). He also authors scholarly articles and speaks regularly on environmental, energy, health, and safety topics, helping organizations understand evolving regulatory expectations.
