About

Bruce R. Epstein has dedicated his legal career to guiding individuals through complex bankruptcy challenges with clarity and care. His practice centers on Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 matters, helping clients evaluate debt relief options, protect assets, and move toward improved financial stability through informed legal strategies.

Bruce earned his B.A. from Northwestern University in 1974, where he developed a strong academic foundation in critical thinking and analysis. He later completed his J.D. – Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law, 1977. This educational progression prepared him for the analytical demands of federal bankruptcy law and consumer-focused advocacy.

Bruce began his legal career serving as Law Clerk to Chief Judge Frank J. Battisti of the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio. This experience provided direct exposure to federal court procedure and judicial reasoning, helping shape a disciplined, detail-oriented approach to bankruptcy representation.

Bruce also served on the Initial Strategic Planning Committee for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Through this role, he contributed to long-term court planning while gaining insight into procedural development and the administration of bankruptcy cases.

Bruce focuses exclusively on bankruptcy law, assisting individuals with Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 filings, debt restructuring, and asset protection concerns. He is certified as a Specialist in Consumer Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification, a non-profit organization sponsored by the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Commercial Law League of America.

Bruce has further supported the legal community by teaching seminars on consumer bankruptcy topics, including ethics, mortgage issues, and post-reform Chapter 13 considerations. These educational efforts reflect his ability to explain complex laws in clear, practical terms.

Bruce Epstein continues to help individuals pursue a brighter financial future through informed bankruptcy guidance. His work reflects decades of focused experience, specialized certification, and a steady commitment to lawful solutions that support long-term financial stability.
