Matthew Bryant

Matthew Bryant is the managing attorney of Bryant Legal, LLC’s Toledo office, where he focuses his legal practice on employment law and bankruptcy. He is a trusted advocate for individuals who have been wrongfully terminated, subjected to retaliation, or suffered workplace discrimination or wage violations. He represents clients before the Ohio Civil Rights Commission and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and in both federal and state courts across Ohio.

Matthew earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo College of Law in 2009. Since then, he has built a distinguished career representing workers and consumers in complex legal disputes. He is recognized as a Certified Specialist in Labor and Employment Law by the Ohio State Bar Association. This designation highlights his advanced expertise and dedication to this practice area.

Matthew has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in employment and bankruptcy law for seven years (2015–2017, 2018–2021). His record of success includes representing clients in high-stakes employment disputes and helping individuals secure debt relief through bankruptcy proceedings.

In addition to his legal practice, Matthew is an active member of the legal community. He has served as Co-Chair of the Young Lawyers Committee of the Toledo Bar Association and as a member of the Executive Committee of the Lucas County Bar Association from 2011 to 2013. He also completed the Ohio State Bar Association Leadership Academy in 2016.
