Brian V. Lee

Brian V. Lee is the founder and lead attorney at Lee Legal, a Washington, D.C. based firm serving clients throughout Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. Since 2005, he has helped thousands of individuals and businesses navigate financial hardship through bankruptcy, foreclosure defense, and litigation.

Brian earned his J.D. from George Mason University School of Law in 2004 and received his B.A. from Rutgers University in 1996.

Before founding Lee Legal in 2008, Brian gained legal experience at the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division – Special Litigation Section. He also completed internships with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia and the U.S. Federal Court of Claims. These roles gave him valuable insight into federal litigation and strengthened his commitment to justice.

Brian is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of Virginia, as well as in multiple U.S. Bankruptcy Courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Brian is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Bar Association, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA), the Northern Virginia Bankruptcy Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees.
