Brian Stimson

Brian Stimson is a dedicated Portland personal injury attorney who focuses his legal practice on injury and wrongful death cases. Brian earned a journalism degree from the Mayborn School of Journalism at the University of North Texas, where he led the student newspaper as editor-in-chief. He later pursued a Juris Doctor at the Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. There, he was a Bakken Fellow, made the Honor Roll, and competed in mock trial and moot court. He gained legal experience by clerking for the Hennepin County District Attorney’s Office and working closely with Senior Ramsey County Judge Judith Tilsen.

Before his legal career, Brian worked as an award-winning journalist for various Portland-area newspapers. His experience in investigative reporting sharpened his attention to detail—an asset he brings into legal practice. Now, as a lawyer, he uses those skills to build strong, compelling cases for people who need help.

Brian Stimson is licensed to practice in Oregon state and federal courts, Washington state courts, and is admitted in Minnesota. He is also deeply engaged in the legal community. He serves as an elected member of the Oregon State Bar House of Delegates for Region 5 and holds memberships with the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, the Washington State Association for Justice, and the American Association for Justice.
