About
Brian J. McGoldrick serves as the Supervised Attorney at the Bankruptcy Law Center, where he has built a reputation as one of Southern California’s most experienced bankruptcy lawyers. Over the course of his 26-year legal practice, he has handled thousands of bankruptcy filings, including high-stakes Chapter 11 reorganizations.
Brian earned his J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles. While in law school, he gained formative experience working for a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee in the Central District of California. This role exposed him to a broad range of bankruptcy cases and helped shape his deep understanding of the bankruptcy process from both sides of the courtroom.
After passing the bar in 1993, Brian practiced bankruptcy, probate, and immigration law throughout the Inland Empire. This experience gave him insider knowledge of the Riverside and San Diego Bankruptcy Courts. Since relocating to San Diego in 2001, he has focused primarily on bankruptcy law, filing over 2,500 cases in the Southern District of California and many more in the Central District.
As a lead attorney on the firm’s Chapter 11 cases, Brian J. McGoldrick handles complex reorganizations for corporate and individual clients. His ability to navigate intricate debt relief strategies has made him a trusted advocate for clients across San Diego, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties. He is admitted to practice in every federal district court in California.
Brian’s dedication is reflected in his extensive positive client feedback, with over 160 five-star reviews on Google and 100 on Yelp. His long-standing commitment to financial advocacy makes him a critical pillar of the Bankruptcy Law Center and a reliable ally for clients seeking a fresh start through legal debt relief.
