Brian J. Levy is a seasoned creditors’ rights and litigation partner representing financial institutions, non-traditional lenders, mortgage servicers, secondary debt purchasers, and other creditors. He provides strategic counsel in loan workouts, restructurings, bankruptcy proceedings, real estate foreclosures, post-judgment enforcement, and litigation under the Uniform Commercial Code and Uniform Voidable Transactions Act.

Brian earned his Juris Doctor from the College of William & Mary and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia. He is admitted to practice in Georgia and Kentucky, with extensive federal and state court admissions, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and multiple U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts.

Brian’s litigation practice focuses on defending lenders against liability claims, wrongful foreclosure actions, and alleged statutory violations, as well as recovering disputed assets for businesses and individuals. He has secured case dismissals, summary judgments, and favorable settlements in high‑stakes real estate litigation, Ponzi scheme recovery actions, and complex commercial disputes.

Brian’s accolades include selection to Best Lawyers in America for Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law (2023–2025) and Commercial Litigation (2022–2025). He is an active member of the Atlanta Bar Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute, and serves on the Law360 Georgia Editorial Board.
