Brian Humke is a shareholder attorney who focuses on litigation and dispute resolution. His practice includes family law, tort litigation, contract disputes, and criminal defense. Brian earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Northern Iowa. He later attended Drake University, where he received his Juris Doctor. His education prepared him for a career focused on litigation, advocacy, and helping clients resolve challenging legal disputes.
Brian is admitted to practice in Iowa and in all state and federal courts within the state. He is also admitted to the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court, allowing him to represent clients in a wide range of legal forums.
Brian’s legal practice focuses primarily on family law, tort claims, and contract litigation. He also represents clients in criminal defense matters. His work often involves resolving disputes while protecting the interests and goals of the individuals and organizations he represents.

Brian Humke serves as general counsel for the Iowa High School Athletic Association and the Iowa High School Music Association. In this role, he regularly speaks at legal and national conferences while advising these organizations on legal issues and governance matters.
