Brian Holland is Of Counsel in Crowley Fleck’s Butte office and a member of its Energy and Environmental Practice Group, where Holland focuses on significant energy, natural resources, and mineral-related projects and transactions. His work includes mining, renewable energy, power plants, pipelines, oil and gas transactions, permitting, due diligence, transaction agreements, condemnation, and related environmental litigation. Holland also handles CERCLA/Superfund and RCRA issues connected to major projects and environmental proceedings.

Holland earned a J.D. from the University of Montana Law School in 1982 and a B.A. in Economics from Carroll College in 1978. His education is complemented by decades of work on energy, utility, and natural-resource matters. This academic background supports legal analysis, research, writing, and problem solving. The training also supports careful review of rules, records, documents, and options within the lawyer’s current practice.

Holland has experience with projects involving mines, renewable energy facilities, power plants, pipelines, oil and gas interests, CERCLA and Superfund issues, and RCRA matters. He previously served as Senior Counsel for Montana Power, adding in-house experience with major energy and utility concerns.
