Brian Chavez is the lead criminal defense attorney at The Chavez Law Firm, where he combines Ivy League education with a deep dedication to his hometown of Odessa, Texas. Known for his relentless advocacy and strategic courtroom approach, Brian has defended clients in cases ranging from misdemeanors to serious felony offenses, always with a focus on protecting their rights and securing justice.
Brian earned his Bachelor of Arts in Government, cum laude, from Harvard University in 1993 and his Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1996. He also completed studies through the University of Texas Mexican-American Studies Program and Universidad de Guanajuato’s law program. Licensed to practice in all Texas state courts, Brian is a member of both the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
