Brian Alexander Wahl

Brian Alexander Wahl is an experienced litigator with more than two decades of practice handling complex cases in both state and federal courts. He has represented major clients across the pharmaceutical, medical device, financial services, and healthcare sectors. His work includes defending Fortune 500 companies and managing mass and individual litigation in Florida, Alabama, and national multidistrict litigation.

Brian earned his Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude from Georgetown University in 1997, followed by his Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in 2000. While in law school, he received the Rosser J. Coke, Jr. Award for Best Commercial Note. He also clerked for Chief Judge W. Harold Albritton III in the United States District Court, Middle District of Alabama.

Brian focuses his practice on financial services litigation, life sciences litigation, product liability, and class actions. Over the last decade, he has devoted much of his work to representing lenders, healthcare providers, and insurers across Florida. He handles all phases of litigation from initial filing through trial, including deposition, discovery, and dispositive motions.

Brian maintains licensure in Alabama, Florida, and Texas, and is admitted to several U.S. District Courts nationwide. He has litigated and arbitrated extensively across Florida’s federal and state courts, covering regions from Miami to Pensacola. His courtroom presence is backed by a strong foundation in discovery strategy and trial preparation.

Brian is actively involved in professional organizations, including the American Bar Association, Mortgage Bankers Association, and Defense Research Institute. His recognitions include listings in The Best Lawyers in America® from 2015–2025 and the Mid-South Super Lawyers for General Litigation. He holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell®.
