About

Brett C. Anderson is a founding partner of the Utah law firm Anderson & Rogers and has represented clients across the state for more than twenty-five years. His practice spans civil and criminal matters, and he is widely respected for his trial skills, sound judgment, and consistent, client-focused advocacy.

Mr. Anderson earned a business degree from the University of Utah and later received his law degree in Oregon. His educational background supports a practical understanding of legal and financial issues, allowing him to approach cases with balanced analysis, strategic planning, and attention to both legal and business considerations.

Mr. Anderson represents clients in personal injury, insurance bad faith, criminal defense, juvenile matters, wills and trusts, business disputes, and real estate cases. He has successfully tried hundreds of cases before Utah judges and juries and is known for thorough preparation and effective courtroom presentation.

Before forming Anderson & Rogers in Lehi, Mr. Anderson served as a prosecutor for the cities of American Fork, Lehi, Cedar Hills, and Riverton. His experience as both a prosecutor and defense attorney provides a valuable perspective and strengthens his ability to evaluate cases and pursue fair outcomes.

Mr. Anderson has argued cases in courts throughout Utah, including the Utah Court of Appeals. He prevailed in a complex insurance case against a major insurer and in a highly publicized criminal case involving a Utah County city. Both decisions were published and reflect his commitment to justice.

Brett C. Anderson is admitted to practice in Utah, Wyoming, and Idaho and is a former adjunct professor of Criminal Law and Procedure at Utah Career College. He is frequently sought by clients and professionals alike, with most new matters coming from referrals based on trust, results, and long standing professional reputation.
