Bret M. Woody is a dedicated criminal defense lawyer committed to protecting the rights of individuals across Washington State. Bret earned his J.D. from Seattle University. During law school, he spent a year and a half providing public defense services in the King County court system. This hands-on experience allowed him to work on real cases and understand every part of the criminal justice process, from jail proceedings to jury trials. His education and early training gave him a strong foundation in trial strategy, legal research, and client advocacy.

Bret has remained committed to serving individuals from all backgrounds throughout his career. He began as a public defender and later continued his defense work with the City of Olympia before establishing his own firm, Eloquence Law, PLLC, in 2016.
