Brandon earned his Political Science degree from the University of North Dakota and a Master’s degree from California State University, Fresno. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from the Fowler School of Law at Chapman University in Orange, California. During law school, he contributed to establishing the West Coast’s first Veterans Legal Clinic, offering free legal services to military veterans. His dedication to serving others is a hallmark of his legal practice.

Brandon began his legal career as a Deputy District Attorney in El Dorado County, California, gaining valuable courtroom experience as a prosecutor. After four years, he founded his own law firm in California, where he continued representing clients in litigation and estate planning matters. In 2020, he returned to North Dakota and later joined O’Keeffe O’Brien Lyson Attorneys, where he was named Partner in 2024.

Licensed to practice law in North Dakota, Minnesota, Colorado, and California, Brandon Erickson is also admitted to the U.S. District Courts of Eastern California, North Dakota, and Minnesota.
