Mr. Schlozman earned his B.A. in History from the University of Pennsylvania in 1993, graduating magna cum laude with special distinction. He received his J.D. with honors from the George Washington University Law School in 1996.

Before entering private practice, Mr. Schlozman held several senior positions within the U.S. Department of Justice, including United States Attorney for the Western District of Missouri, Acting Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division, and Counsel to the Deputy Attorney General. He also clerked for two federal judges and began his legal career in Washington, D.C., as a senior associate in a prominent Supreme Court and appellate litigation practice.

Mr. Schlozman’s civil rights practice focuses on representing states, municipalities, law enforcement agencies, and advocacy organizations in high-stakes investigations and litigation brought by the U.S. Department of Justice and other government authorities. His work covers voting rights, racial discrimination, disability discrimination, and law enforcement policy and compliance. He has extensive appellate experience, arguing civil rights cases nationwide before federal and state courts of appeal.

In the ERISA and employee benefits space, Mr. Schlozman represents a wide range of clients—such as employers, fiduciaries, financial institutions, and insurance brokers—on compliance and litigation matters. He advises on plan administration, fiduciary duties, and regulatory guidance and has successfully defended against complex benefit claims.

With bar admissions across 12 U.S. Circuit Courts and the U.S. Supreme Court, Bradley J. Schlozman is recognized for his breadth of legal knowledge and courtroom experience.
