Berly D. Nelson

Berly D. Nelson is a Fargo, North Dakota, attorney and shareholder at Serkland Law Firm. He joined the firm in 2004 and became a shareholder in 2011. Berly has tried cases in both North Dakota and Minnesota and argued matters before the North Dakota Supreme Court and the Minnesota Court of Appeals. His estate and trust litigation work involves disputes over the administration and rights associated with trusts and estates. He also represents clients in banking and commercial cases, creditor bankruptcy matters, and claims seeking the return of property. He has spoken at the Minnesota Probate and Trust Law Section Conference.

Berly D. Nelson was selected for Great Plains Super Lawyers recognition in Banking in 2020 and was named a Rising Star from 2016 through 2018. He is admitted in North Dakota and Minnesota, with federal district and bankruptcy court admissions in those states.
