Bennett J. Schiller III

Bennett J. Schiller III is a seasoned trial lawyer representing injured individuals and families throughout South Carolina. His practice focuses on personal injury and workers’ compensation matters, including serious accidents and wrongful death claims. He is known for thorough preparation, courtroom experience, and a strong commitment to advocating for clients.

Bennett earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The Citadel in 1990 after receiving a full four-year Citadel Scholars Scholarship. He later earned his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1994, where he held multiple student leadership roles and served in student government.

Bennett’s legal practice includes auto, truck, motorcycle, bicycle, and pedestrian accidents; catastrophic injury; premises liability; products liability; nursing home cases; and Social Security disability claims. He represents plaintiffs exclusively and has built a practice focused on trial advocacy, strategic litigation, and protecting injured clients’ rights.

Before and after law school, Bennett gained valuable experience working with established personal injury firms. He later co-founded a law firm and expanded his practice across multiple regions of South Carolina. He has also served as Circuit Representative for the Young Lawyers Division of the South Carolina Bar Association.

Bennett has earned numerous academic and professional distinctions, including President’s List and Dean’s List honors, National Merit Scholars recognition, and National Beta Club awards. He was a member of The Citadel Inn of Court and the prestigious Summerall Guards, reflecting excellence in leadership, discipline, and service.

Bennett J. Schiller III remains actively involved in community organizations and professional service. He has served on nonprofit boards, participated in leadership programs, and continues to support civic initiatives in the Lowcountry while providing dedicated legal representation to clients in Beaufort and surrounding communities.
