About
Benjamin T. Cochran is a committed North Carolina attorney with a strong focus on workers’ compensation and personal injury law. He has represented thousands of individuals facing workplace injuries and helped them understand the legal process and reach informed decisions. His experience gives clients a clear view of what to expect as their cases progress.
Benjamin earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and African American Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1999. He then attended the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University, where he earned his Juris Doctor. He passed the North Carolina Bar and became a licensed attorney in 2002.
Benjamin began his legal career handling only workers’ compensation claims. He later became a Board Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation, a designation awarded by the North Carolina State Bar. Over time, he expanded his practice to include personal injury cases while keeping workers’ compensation as his main focus.
Benjamin has always emphasized strong communication with clients. He ensures they are fully informed and understand the often complicated legal steps in their claims. With years of hands-on experience in similar case types, he can explain potential outcomes and guide clients to make the best choices for their situations.
Benjamin’s legal efforts have resulted in several seven-figure outcomes for clients. His commitment to excellence has earned him repeated recognition, including continuous listings in The Best Lawyers in America for Workers’ Compensation Law – Claimants since 2014 and being named a North Carolina Super Lawyer annually since 2009.
Benjamin T. Cochran has also been honored with the AV Martindale Law Firm Award Badge and multiple Best Lawyer and Super Lawyers award badges in recent years.
