About
Benjamin Osorio is a Senior Partner at Murray Osorio PLLC and a dedicated advocate for individuals in removal proceedings. He represents clients in immigration courts across the country, including Atlanta, Charlotte, Miami, Arlington, Baltimore, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio.
Benjamin has secured victories before the Board of Immigration Appeals and multiple United States Courts of Appeals. His appellate work includes significant decisions in the Fourth, Fifth, and Eleventh Circuits, as well as matters reviewed by the United States Supreme Court. He has argued cases on aggravated-felony classifications, asylum standards, motions to reopen, and procedural protections in removal proceedings.
With experience in both criminal and immigration law, Benjamin understands the immigration consequences of criminal convictions. As a former prosecutor’s office clerk and criminal defense practitioner, he brings valuable insight to cases involving the overlap between criminal and immigration law.
Benjamin is admitted to practice in Georgia, the U.S. Supreme Court, and several federal Courts of Appeals, including the Third, Fourth, Fifth, Ninth, and Eleventh Circuits. He has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America® and frequently speaks at Continuing Legal Education seminars for the American Immigration Lawyers Association, including international conferences.
Benjamin has been featured in national media outlets such as MSNBC, ABC News, CNN, NBC News, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Noticias Telemundo. A former Chairman of the Board of Immigration Appeals described him as a “smart, caring, competent, hard-working immigration attorney.”
Benjamin Osorio remains committed to defending immigrants’ rights through strategic litigation, appellate advocacy, and public legal education.
