About

Benjamin L. Rundall is recognized for delivering ethical advocacy and strategic legal representation across civil rights, business litigation, and Federal Indian law. With a foundation built on legal excellence and individualized counsel, Benjamin represents individuals, tribal governments, and businesses in complex litigation—including high-profile cases against powerful governmental entities. His practice spans Arizona’s State, Federal, and Tribal courts, as well as appellate litigation before the U.S. Ninth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Benjamin holds a J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law and a B.A. in Anthropology and Political Science, both from Arizona State University. Known for discretion, diligence, and results-driven legal solutions, Benjamin is trusted by clients navigating sensitive, high-stakes legal matters.

Benjamin is known for identifying patterns of constitutional violations and holding public institutions accountable through precise legal strategy and relentless preparation. His work includes a broad spectrum of matters, such as tribal governance, ICWA, economic development, administrative hearings, and employment disputes. A graduate of the Indian Legal Program at Arizona State University and former Chair of the State Bar of Arizona’s Indian Law Section, Benjamin brings informed advocacy to the forefront of tribal and civil litigation.

Benjamin L. Rundall also maintains a strong focus on government transparency, successfully arguing Smith v. Town of Marana, a landmark Arizona Court of Appeals case reinforcing public access to governmental records. His expertise in public records law has led to widespread recognition and invitations to train other attorneys in the field. In addition, Benjamin has been negotiating Medicare and ERISA lien resolutions, helping clients settle millions in recovery obligations since 2016.

Before joining Zwillinger Wulkan, Benjamin served as Senior Staff Attorney at the ACLU of Arizona, where he led impact litigation targeting systemic injustices. He also co-founded a private firm dedicated to civil rights and complex litigation. Benjamin continues his civic engagement through service with the U.S. District Court’s Civil Litigation Panel, the West Valley NAACP Executive Committee, and the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association.
