Benjamin earned his J.D. from Yale Law School, where he founded and helped lead the Small Business Clinical Initiative. The program provided legal support to start-up businesses in underserved communities. He also earned a B.A. from Wesleyan University, School of Social Studies and graduated with High Honors. His academic achievements included Phi Beta Kappa recognition, the Philip B. Brown Scholarship, the John W. Macy Grant, and the Parker Prize for excellence in public speaking and public service.
Benjamin has built a distinguished legal career representing clients before courts and government agencies on a wide range of employment matters. His work includes employment discrimination claims, disability accommodation issues, FMLA leave administration, ERISA compliance, and FLSA wage and hour disputes. Before establishing his firm, he served as Senior Labor and Employment Legal Counsel for C&S Wholesale Grocers. Earlier, he practiced at a major Boston law firm, advising Fortune 500 companies on employment law and labor-related concerns nationwide.
