Benjamin F. Marshall, IV

Benjamin F. Marshall, IV, is a Monroe native who has practiced real estate law in Louisiana since 1985. He focuses on real estate transactions and title matters, offering clients decades of experience and in-depth knowledge of property law issues.

Ben graduated from Louisiana State University before earning his law degree from Tulane Law School. He is licensed to practice law in Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Texas, allowing him to assist clients with multi-state real estate matters when needed.

Before founding Bulldog Title, Ben worked across the country acquiring right-of-way for the pipeline industry. This experience gave him practical insight into land acquisition, property rights, and the complexities of large-scale real estate projects.

Ben has been actively involved in public service and the title industry. He served on the Ouachita Parish Police Jury from 1992 to 2000 and acted as President during his final two years. His leadership experience reflects his longstanding commitment to his community.

Within the title industry, Ben has served as an agent for numerous national title companies. He is a former President of the Louisiana Association of Independent Land Title Agents (LAILTA) and currently serves on its Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Louisiana State Insurance Commissioner’s Title Insurance Advisory Council.

In addition to transactional work, Benjamin F. Marshall, IV, has handled litigation involving title insurance claims and has served as an expert witness in property dispute cases. He continues to provide knowledgeable and dependable counsel in real estate and title matters throughout Louisiana.
