Ben Levy

Ben Levy is of counsel with Wetherington Law Firm in Atlanta and represents people in personal injury cases. His current work includes car accidents, slip and fall claims, motorcycle wrecks, spinal injuries, drunk driving crashes, and other serious injury matters. He approaches cases with a trial-focused mindset and brings earlier insurance defense experience to his representation, giving him practical insight into how insurers evaluate claims, prepare defenses, and approach settlement decisions.

Ben earned his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law. During law school, he participated in mock trial, served on the executive board, and held leadership roles in the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association student chapter. His legal education and advocacy activities helped develop the courtroom, research, and case-preparation skills that support his present personal injury practice. He later continued building trial experience through civil litigation on both the defense and plaintiff sides.

Ben developed significant courtroom experience early in his career and recorded more than ten civil jury trial victories within three years of law school graduation. Before representing injured individuals, he worked for an insurance defense firm to learn how carriers assess personal injury claims and defend them at trial. He now uses that experience in plaintiff-side litigation, preparing cases carefully and anticipating the arguments and strategies commonly used by insurance companies.

Ben Levy is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice and has participated in the GTLA LEAD Academy. He also presents and publishes on trial advocacy and product-related injury topics. His practice combines trial preparation, insurance defense knowledge, and plaintiff advocacy, helping injured clients pursue compensation through negotiation or litigation while maintaining close attention to evidence, case development, and practical litigation strategy.
