Beck S. Fineman is a member of Pullman & Comley’s Family Law Practice, where he advocates for clients in divorce, custody, and marital agreement matters. Drawing on extensive litigation experience, he provides strong representation in state and federal courts, as well as in appellate proceedings, to protect his clients’ rights and interests.
Beck earned his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Smith College in 2001 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2006. Beck Fineman’s academic achievements laid the foundation for a legal career focused on complex litigation and family law, reinforced by his commitment to equal access to justice.
Prior to joining Pullman & Comley, Beck served as a partner at a well-regarded Bridgeport litigation firm, where he represented businesses, government bodies, and individual clients. He has tried numerous cases to verdict in state and federal courts across Connecticut and New York. He has argued nine appeals before the Second and Eleventh Circuits, as well as in Connecticut’s appellate courts.
Beyond his active legal practice, Beck is a respected leader in Connecticut’s legal community and a strong advocate for LGBTQ+ rights. A past president of the Connecticut Bar Association’s LGBTQ Section, he currently serves on the Association’s Awards Committee and has been honored as a James W. Cooper Fellow of the Connecticut Bar Foundation. Beck is also a frequent lecturer at the University of Connecticut School of Law and a sought-after speaker on LGBTQ+ legal issues at state and national conferences.
Honored repeatedly as a Connecticut Super Lawyer since 2020 and previously named a Rising Star, Beck S. Fineman continues to be recognized for his advocacy and leadership.
