Beatriz Ibarra

Beatriz Ibarra is a personal injury attorney with Kevin McManus Law, serving injured clients and families in the Kansas City area. Her practice addresses motor vehicle collisions, wrongful death, and claims arising from negligence. Beatriz earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law, where she received the Walter Hiersteiner Outstanding Service Award. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Kansas. Before joining Kevin McManus Law, Beatriz was a partner at Langdon & Emison and the owner and managing partner of Contigo Centro Legal and Ibarra Law. She also spent nearly a decade in Washington, D.C., including six years as counsel in the U.S. Senate. Earlier, she clerked for Judge Kathleen A. Forsyth in the 16th Circuit Court in Jackson County, Missouri. These positions shaped her litigation and policy perspective.

Beatriz previously served as president of the Hispanic Bar Association of Greater Kansas City and remains involved with the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys and Kansas Trial Lawyers Association. Her community leadership has included Legal Aid of Western Missouri and the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation.
