About

Bailey Lazzari represents people facing criminal accusations throughout Wyoming. Her practice includes driving under the influence, assault, domestic violence, drug offenses, juvenile matters, probation issues, theft, and serious felony charges. She prepares each defense by reviewing police reports, available footage, relevant law, and other evidence affecting her client’s case. Through direct communication, she helps clients understand the court process, possible penalties, and strategic choices affecting their future.

Bailey earned Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees, both summa cum laude, from Metropolitan State University in 2014. She continued her legal education in Wyoming. She received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2017. During law school, she gained courtroom experience as a Judicial Intern in 2015 and a Legal Intern from 2016 through 2017. Her education and early training strengthened her skills in legal research, writing, investigation, and trial preparation.

Bailey joined the Wyoming Public Defender’s Office in 2017, and she served there until 2020. She represented clients through the Wind River Tribal Court Public Defender program from 2020 through 2024. From 2021 through 2022, she gained additional criminal defense experience handling cases involving murder, DUI dismissals, tribal proceedings, juvenile matters, and other cases carrying serious personal consequences. She has been admitted in Wyoming and the US District Court for Wyoming since 2017.

Bailey Lazzari contributes to Wyoming’s legal community, and she remains active through bar leadership, trial advocacy, writing, and judicial service. She has led criminal, tribal, and Federal Indian law sections within the Wyoming State Bar. Her professional service includes board work with the Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association and service as a part-time Wind River Tribal Court Appellate Judge.
