Angela A. Stout

Angela A. Stout is a Houston family law attorney whose work includes contested child custody cases and high-asset divorce disputes involving complex property issues. She was admitted to the Texas bar in 2007 and became board certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 2015. Her practice also addresses divorce, property division, support, and other legal matters affecting spouses and parents. Angela graduated magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University, where she double majored in Political Science and Human and Organizational Development, focusing on Community Development and Social Policy. She later earned her Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law in May 2007. Her education helped prepare her to analyze family relationships, legal obligations, and disputes involving finances or children. She also pursued training in mediation and arbitration to expand the methods available for addressing family conflicts.

Angela’s legal practice has emphasized complex family law cases since 2007. She represents clients in contested custody matters, divorces involving substantial assets, and disputes over property. She is certified as a mediator through the A.A. White Dispute Resolution Center and as an arbitrator through the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
