Ashley L. Heeren

Ashley L. Heeren is an associate attorney at Foulston Siefkin LLP, working in the firm’s litigation and disputes practice group. Based in Wichita, she represents clients in a variety of legal matters, including insurance defense and commercial litigation. Ashley is dedicated to providing strong legal representation, helping clients navigate complex disputes with strategic advice and effective advocacy. Her experience includes working on cases involving employment law, tax, trusts and estates, business law, and more.

Ashley earned her J.D. from Washburn University School of Law, graduating cum laude in 2022. During law school, she was an articles editor for the Washburn Law Journal and received several academic honors, including the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Legal Analysis, Research & Writing II, and Employment Discrimination. She was also a Dean’s Academic Excellence Scholarship recipient and a member of the Dean’s Leadership Council. Before law school, she completed her B.S. in Philosophy/Pre-Law from Kansas State University, graduating cum laude in 2019 with a minor in Leadership Studies.

Ashley’s legal career includes working as a summer associate at Foulston Siefkin LLP in 2020 and 2021, where she gained hands-on experience in multiple practice areas. She also served as a legal intern at the Kansas Department of Revenue in 2017, providing valuable support on tax-related legal matters. Her experience in state and federal courts enables her to advocate for clients facing legal disputes effectively. She was admitted to practice law in Kansas and the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas in 2022.
