Ashley L. Heeren

Ashley L. Heeren is an associate attorney at Foulston Siefkin LLP, working in the firm’s litigation and disputes practice group. Based in Wichita, she represents clients in a variety of legal matters, including insurance defense and commercial litigation. Ashley is dedicated to providing strong legal representation, helping clients navigate complex disputes with strategic advice and effective advocacy. Her experience includes working on cases involving employment law, tax, trusts and estates, business law, and more.

Ashley earned her J.D. from Washburn University School of Law, graduating cum laude in 2022. During law school, she was an articles editor for the Washburn Law Journal and received several academic honors, including the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Legal Analysis, Research & Writing II, and Employment Discrimination. She was also a Dean’s Academic Excellence Scholarship recipient and a member of the Dean’s Leadership Council. Before law school, she completed her B.S. in Philosophy/Pre-Law from Kansas State University, graduating cum laude in 2019 with a minor in Leadership Studies.

Ashley brings diverse, real-world legal experience to her clients. She worked as a summer associate at Foulston Siefkin LLP in 2020 and 2021, gaining hands-on experience across multiple practice areas and sharpening her skills in litigation and client advocacy. In 2017, she served as a legal intern with the Kansas Department of Revenue, where she supported attorneys on a range of tax-related legal matters. Her background in both state and federal courts allows her to effectively represent clients in complex legal disputes. Ashley was admitted to practice law in Kansas and the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas in 2022.
