About
Ashley J. Brick is a shareholder at Littler with offices in Denver and Los Angeles–Century City. She practices exclusively in labor and employment law, representing large corporations and small businesses in lawsuits and agency claims. Her cases include class actions involving independent contractor misclassification, wages, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. She also counsels employers on workplace laws, taking account of the business circumstances behind each legal issue.
Ashley earned her B.A. from Wesleyan University in 2005 and her J.D. from the University of Arizona College of Law in 2011. She is admitted to practice in Colorado and California. Her court admissions include the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. This background supports her work across employment disputes and ongoing advice involving state and federal requirements.
Ashley has defended complex employment cases from their beginning through resolution. Many of her clients are retailers and healthcare providers, including small residential care facilities in California. She advises facility operators on California wage and hour requirements and federal sleep-time laws. Her work also includes preparing and reviewing employment agreements, advising on discipline and company policies, and providing live training to operators who must apply these requirements in daily operations.
Ashley J. Brick was named to the 2026 Ones to Watch list of The Best Lawyers in America. She has participated as a Pathfinder with the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity and co-authored a wage and hour guide for California residential care facilities. Her speaking experience includes employment law programs and care-facility compliance training. She combines litigation defense with practical counseling to help employers understand workplace obligations and assess the risks surrounding personnel decisions.
