About

Ashley D. Bruce is a seasoned Florida family law attorney focusing on divorce, child custody, and child support matters. With deep roots in South Florida, she brings empathy and insight to every case, guiding clients through life’s most challenging transitions while ensuring their rights and future remain protected.

Ashley began her academic journey at the University of Central Florida, earning a degree in Business Administration with a minor in Legal Studies, graduating with honors. She then earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center, where she was active in the Law Review and Moot Court Society and received several “highest grade awards,” including in Family Law.

Following law school, Ashley served as a judicial law clerk for Judge Melanie G. May of the Fourth District Court of Appeal and Judge Raymond B. Ray in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida. These experiences strengthened her analytical and courtroom skills, preparing her to manage complex family law cases involving significant personal and financial stakes.

Ashley later practiced at Berger Singerman, LLP, where she handled high-stakes business litigation and bankruptcy matters. This work provided a solid foundation for her transition to family law, equipping her to handle cases that involve financial disputes, asset protection, and complex marital property divisions. Her approach balances strategic litigation with a focus on resolution to help clients achieve fair outcomes efficiently.

Ashley D. Bruce is a member of The Florida Bar and has been licensed since 2008. Known for her compassionate yet assertive advocacy, she is especially committed to supporting women seeking freedom from controlling or abusive relationships.
