Ashley Atwell-Soler is a committed advocate for individuals facing employment discrimination, personal injury, sexual harassment, and harassment claims. Drawing on her extensive experience in both plaintiff and defense work, she provides effective legal representation across all phases of litigation. She brings strong trial experience and multilingual capabilities to each case.
Ashley earned her Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law in 2008. She also holds both a B.A. in Latin American Studies and Political Science and an M.A. in History from the University of Miami, where she graduated with high honors. Her academic excellence forms a solid foundation for her comprehensive legal strategies.
Before entering private practice, Ashley clerked for the Honorable Dean Whipple in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri. She also served in Washington, D.C., as Press Secretary for Congressman Silvestre Reyes and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, giving her unique insight into policy and public service that now informs her legal work.
Ashley’s practice is rooted in her passion for justice and client advocacy. She leverages her civil defense background to navigate negotiations and litigation better, helping individuals achieve favorable resolutions. Fluent in Spanish and certified as a Spanish-language court interpreter, she often represents Spanish-speaking clients and co-counsels in cases involving bilingual witnesses.
In addition to her civil practice, Ashley also serves as appointed counsel under the Criminal Justice Act for clients in federal criminal matters. She is admitted to practice in Missouri, Kansas, and multiple federal courts, and remains active in several professional associations, including the Hispanic Bar Association of Greater Kansas City and the National Employment Lawyers Association.
