About
Arkady Reifman is the founder and principal attorney of Reifman Law Offices, with offices in Schaumburg and Northbrook, Illinois. He has served family law clients in Northern Illinois since 2003. His practice covers divorce, uncontested divorce, child custody, child support, paternity and parentage, relocation, domestic violence and orders of protection, family agreements, and high-net-worth divorce. He focuses on guiding clients through difficult family transitions with individualized legal representation.
Arkady earned a B.A. in Communication from Northern Illinois University in 1996 and a J.D. from John Marshall Law School in Chicago in 2001. The law school is now known as the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. His education preceded a family law practice that has continued for more than two decades, providing a foundation for work involving contested domestic relations issues, negotiation, court procedure, and agreements affecting parents, children, property, and financial obligations.
Arkady represents clients across the different stages of divorce and other family law cases. His work includes disputes over parenting arrangements, support, relocation, parentage, domestic violence, and asset-related issues in high-net-worth matters. He also handles uncontested cases and negotiated family agreements when clients can resolve issues without extensive litigation. This range allows him to address cases that require courtroom advocacy as well as matters that are suited to negotiated resolution.
Arkady Reifman is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. His practice has remained centered on family law since 2003 and serves clients through the firm’s Schaumburg and Northbrook offices. By handling both contested and cooperative family matters, he works with clients on legal issues involving children, finances, safety, and changing family relationships while maintaining direct involvement in case strategy and resolution.
