About
Ara Jabagchourian has built a reputation as a trial lawyer who guides clients through challenging civil disputes with steady focus and detailed preparation. He has resolved hundreds of matters through settlement or verdict, applying his experience across personal injury, fraud litigation, employment issues, and business conflicts to secure meaningful results.
Ara completed his academic foundation at California State University, Fresno, earning a Bachelor of Arts, Philosophy, and a Bachelor of Science, Economics, before receiving his Juris Doctorate, 1999 from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. This educational path strengthened his analytical skills and prepared him for complex litigation involving economic losses, consumer harm, and civil liability.
Ara gained early experience at the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D.C., where he handled antitrust matters as a staff attorney. His work later expanded at a large law firm, representing companies in antitrust, intellectual property, and commercial disputes—experience that shaped his ability to handle multifaceted civil cases.
Ara then transitioned to a plaintiff-focused practice, where he served as a partner and completed more than a hundred matters. His approach centers on hands-on case development, strategic negotiation, and trial readiness, helping clients effectively navigate disputes involving injury, misconduct, or financial wrongdoing.
Ara’s notable cases include serving as lead counsel in a Fresno County class action Ponzi scheme matter that resulted in a $114.5 million verdict, as well as securing the highest single-death wrongful-death verdict in San Diego County history. He also represented dozens of households affected by the PG&E pipeline explosion in the San Bruno Fire litigation.
Ara Jabagchourian continues to apply his trial experience to support individuals and families facing serious legal challenges, offering guidance grounded in skill, preparation, and commitment to achieving fair outcomes. Ara was additionally appointed liaison counsel for the litigation involving the listing of the Princess Cruise Line ship off the Florida coast, which involved hundreds of injuries. His work in these high-stakes matters reflects his ability to manage complex evidence, expert testimony, and large groups of plaintiffs.
