Anthony J. Gertz is an attorney at Gertz Law Firm who serves individuals, families, and property owners from the firm’s Reading, Ohio office. Mr. Gertz earned a Bachelor of Arts from Thomas More College, completing a double major in history, political science, and accounting. He received his legal education from Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University and also earned a master’s degree in theology from the Athenaeum of Ohio. This multidisciplinary background supports his careful approach to legal analysis, financial considerations, family concerns, and the personal decisions involved in estate and probate matters.
After receiving his Ohio law license in 1972, Mr. Gertz opened his practice on Pike Street in Reading. He is admitted before the US District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. His work includes preparing wills and trusts, guiding families through probate administration, handling real estate issues, and representing clients in criminal matters. He is also available to meet clients at the firm’s Loveland office.
Anthony J. Gertz has combined legal practice with extensive public service in Reading. He served the city for 12 years as mayor and has also held positions as a council-at-large representative, city treasurer, city service director, and Ward Two councilman. Mr. Gertz belongs to the Ohio State Bar Association, Cincinnati Bar Association, St. Thomas More Law Society of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, Reading Chamber of Commerce, and several civic and charitable organizations. His community involvement strengthens his practical, service-oriented approach to client needs.
