Anna Marchiony

Anna Marchiony is an associate attorney with Frank & Juengel Law Group in Clayton and focuses on criminal defense. Her practice is built around client-centered advocacy for people facing state and federal criminal accusations, including serious felony matters, appeals, and post-conviction issues. Anna works within a defense practice that handles DWI, drug and gun charges, violent offenses, property and white-collar crimes, sex offenses, criminal appeals, military offenses, and record-clearing matters for clients confronting significant legal consequences.

Anna earned a J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2025, graduating summa cum laude. During law school, she worked with clients facing trial, appeal, and post-conviction proceedings. She interned with the Missouri State Public Defender, assisting with trial preparation and motion hearings, and served as a Fellow with the Sixth Circuit Clinic, where she drafted briefs and represented clients in federal criminal appeals. Those experiences provided practical training in criminal procedure and written advocacy.

Anna also served as a Fellow with the Ohio Innocence Project, working on wrongful-conviction matters and post-conviction motions for incarcerated clients. Before law school, she worked with the Hamilton County Department of Children’s Services, investigating child abuse and neglect, supervising caseworkers, and participating in community outreach. That background adds experience with sensitive investigations, detailed records, government systems, and high-stakes client circumstances to her current criminal-defense work at the trial and appellate levels.

Anna Marchiony brings recent legal training and substantial clinical experience in criminal defense, appeals, innocence work, and post-conviction advocacy. Her work with public defenders, the Sixth Circuit Clinic, and the Ohio Innocence Project developed skills in case investigation, motion practice, appellate briefing, and client representation. Anna applies that foundation to criminal cases in Clayton and the St. Louis area, helping clients understand charges, evaluate defenses, prepare for proceedings, and protect their rights through each stage of a case.
