Anna M. Aleksander

Anna M. Aleksander is the owner of Aleksander Law Office, PLLC in Louisville, Kentucky. Her practice focuses on personal injury, criminal defense law, and family law. She represents clients in car and motorcycle accidents, slip and fall claims, wrongful death matters, nursing home abuse cases, DUI defense, felony and misdemeanor charges, divorce, custody, support, and related disputes. She founded her practice in 2008 after working in New York City and later handling insurance defense matters in Kentucky.

Ms. Aleksander earned a B.S. in Justice Administration with a concentration in Criminal Justice, cum laude, from the University of Louisville. She later received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law. She earned Dean’s List recognition throughout law school and received Book Awards in Health Law and Legal Research. Her legal education included a judicial externship with a Jefferson Circuit Court judge and European law study in Vienna and Prague.

Ms. Aleksander began building courtroom experience before entering private practice through legal internships, volunteer work, and judicial training. She interned with the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office as a victim’s advocate during college. After law school, she practiced in New York City before returning to Kentucky and working as an insurance defense attorney. Her background supports her work in injury claims, criminal defense, and family disputes. She is licensed in Kentucky and New York and is admitted to the US District Court for the Western District of Kentucky.

Anna M. Aleksander brings more than 17 years of legal experience to clients facing personal, financial, and criminal concerns. Her practice includes negotiations, litigation, and courtroom advocacy across several areas of law. She has received recognition that includes a Top 40 Under 40 honor and a National Trial Lawyers Top 100 trial lawyer nomination.
