About

Ann-Claire K. Williams is an associate attorney with Nyquist Law Group in Anchorage. Since 2022, her practice has focused exclusively on family law, wills and estate planning, and probate. She works with clients facing major personal and family transitions, including divorce and related family-law matters, while also helping individuals plan for the future through estate documents and navigate the legal process after a death.

Ann-Claire earned her Juris Doctor with honors from Oklahoma City University School of Law and a master’s degree in criminal justice and criminology from Texas Christian University, graduating cum laude. During law school, she served as a Law Review editor, was inducted into the Hand Inn of Court International Legal Honor Society, and was a Hatton Sumners Scholar. She also practiced for two years as a licensed legal intern, building practical experience before entering full-time practice.

Her earlier legal experience included positions with a District Attorney’s Office and Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma. Those roles exposed Ann-Claire to public-service practice, client counseling, and courtroom-oriented legal work before she concentrated on family law and estate matters. Her current practice brings together dispute resolution and planning, allowing her to assist clients with immediate family-law concerns while also addressing wills, estate planning, and probate procedures that may have long-term consequences.

Ann-Claire K. Williams combines family-law practice with experience in public service, legal aid, and estate-related matters. Her work requires clear communication, careful preparation, and sensitivity to legal issues that often arise during difficult life changes. By focusing on family law, wills, estate planning, and probate, she helps Alaska clients understand legal options, prepare necessary documents, and move through court or administrative processes with practical guidance tailored to the matter at hand.
